Since making his Test debut against Australia in Dharmasala in March 2017, Kuldeep Yadav has played just 13 matches in the longest format of the game for his country.

The spin-bouling of modern times was understood many times due to the presence of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja of the Great.

However, when Ravichandran Ashwin retired, many people hoped that Kuldeep Yadav is expected to score continuously in the Indian Test team starting with the series in England.

But this did not happen because head coach Gautam Gambhir has trusted all -rounder Washington Sundar to work on Kuldeep Yadav.

Due to several injuries at the camp, the Indian team management has been forced to change the playing combination in Test matches against England, but despite this, the left-arm wrist-spinner is placed on the bench.

A part of management considered him to play in XI in the 4th Test: Report

In a match by many cricket experts from all over the world, calls were made to highlight Kuldeep in the fourth Test at Old Trafford, Manchester.

However, India went as spinners with Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar with four pacers with Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Sirj, Debutant Anusul Kamboj, and Shardul Thakur.

Now, a TOI report suggested that Kuldeep’s name was discussed in the team meeting for the Manchester Test, but a ‘security-first’ approach led to his non-selection. In particular, Kuldeep’s inability to contribute significantly with the bat went against him.
