Former India national cricket team wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has alleged that head coach Gautam Gambhir played a role in sacking Rishabh Pant in the first Test against the England National cricket team.
Dinesh Karthik said that a ‘quiet’ message from Gautam Gambhir contributed to the bizarre dismissal of star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant in Headingley on Saturday 21 June.

Commenting for Sky Sports, Dinesh Karthik convicted head coach Gautam Gambhir for the dismissal of Rishabh Pant.
He said that the ‘quiet’ message forced the wicketkeeper-batsman to change his style, which spent him his wicket.
“This is also very interesting, when a message was sent to Rishabh Pant, it curbed his style of game.
