Two legends of Indian cricket, Dravid and Binny will be honored with the Colonel CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award for their incomparable contribution to the game.
Dravid’s legacy extends far beyond his illustrious playing career. Known for his impeccable technique and composure at the crease, he scored over 24,000 international runs and established himself as one of India’s greatest Test batsmen. After retirement, Dravid played an important role in shaping the next generation of Indian cricketers. As Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy, he guided many young players who later became mainstays of the national team. He also guided the India Under-19 team to the ICC U19 World Cup title in 2018. Later, as head coach of the senior men’s team, Dravid oversaw a historic moment in 2024 when India ended a long ICC trophy drought by winning the T20 World Cup in Barbados.
Meanwhile, Binny’s contribution is linked to India’s historic 1983 World Cup win. The former all-rounder was the leading wicket-taker in that tournament and played a key role in helping India win its maiden World Cup title. Binny was also a part of the Indian team that won the Cricket World Championship in 1985. After his playing days, he served as the 36th President of BCCI from 2022 to 2025.

India’s Test and ODI captain Gill will receive the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for the Best International Cricketer (Men) for the 2024-25 season. This is the second time Gill has earned this honour, reflecting his growing stature as one of India’s leading batsmen.
Among women cricketers, Smriti Mandhana Once again he has been recognized for his consistency and talent with the bat. She will receive the Best International Cricketer (Women) award for the fifth time in her career. Mandhana also topped the list as the leading run-scorer in Women’s ODI during the 2024-25 season.

The ceremony will also celebrate a golden era for Indian cricket with the honoring of five ICC trophy-winning teams: the Women’s Under-19 World Cup 2025 champions, the Men’s Under-19 World Cup 2026 winners, the Champions Trophy 2025 champions, the Women’s World Cup 2025 champions and the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 winners.
