Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan criticized Indian captain Shubman Gill and England captain Ben Stokes for a slow over-rate during the third Test of the five-match series at Lord’s. Vaughan said that the fine is very low to change the slow rate as the players are rich and can easily tolerate them.
India and England are currently playing the third Test, located alike 1–1 with the series. A total of 22 overs were lost in the first two days. India managed to bowl 83 overs in 1 day, while both sides combined for just 75 overs at day 2. They were reduced by 15 in 15 overs of 90 overs for the second day’s game.
Don’t think cash is going to affect them – Shubman Gill – Michael Vaughan on Stokes

“I don’t think the fine works. I think these leads are quite rich,” Vaughan said with the BBC Sports with laughter.
“I don’t think the cash is going to affect them. Test match is a problem for cricket for some time. I know it’s hot. I know we have some injuries, but when we reach the fifth day, we have to bowl 90 overs,” he said.
“I don’t know that in one, two, three and four days, we can watch the game played at the speed of a snail. Surely the game moves forward in a day saying that there are 90 overs. It seems what we are going to do? We are going to bowl 90 overs a day,” Von said.
I will guarantee that speed will improve – Michael Vaughan
Michael Vaughan insisted that completing the entire quota of 90 overs every day should be non-pervantic in Test cricket. He reported that on the fifth day, the game runs fast with low brakes and delays. Von said that the rule should be strictly implemented in all five days.
“You see five days when players, umpires know that 90 overs will have to be bowled. They will walk around. The more drinks will break. There will be no delay, because they know that 90 overs will have to bowl. So I will make it very simple. You have to bowl in 90 overs.
India led by Shubman Gill lost three wickets in 2 days after limiting England to 387

Karun Nair scored 40 off 62 balls, but was sent back by England captain Ben Stokes. Shubman Gill, who scored a dual century and hundred in the previous test, was rejected by Chris Woakes to just 16.
