The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has filed a complaint against Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh for violation of a code of conduct with the International Cricket Council (ICC). In particular, the board had earlier complained to misconduct during the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 against India captain Suryakumar Yadav.

India has opted to bat till number 8 and has included only three expert bowlers in most of its Asia Cup 2025 matches. Arshdeep Singh was on the bench for four out of six matches. In particular, the left-handed fast bowler recently completed 100 T20 Eye wickets for men in Blue during an eight-team tournament.

ICC complaint against PCB files Arshdeep Singh

According to Sohail Imran, a sports correspondent for Jio TV, the Pakistan Cricket Board has filed a formal complaint against Arshdeep with the International Cricket Council. He alleged that Singh made unfair gestures to the audience at the conclusion of the September 21 match.

The PCB has violated the ICC code of conduct and requested disciplinary action against the bowler. Imran shared updates on social media before the Asia Cup 2025 finals.

India and Pakistan set for the first Asia Cup final clash

India and Pakistan have faced each other twice in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. In Blue, men won both encounters at Dubai International Stadium. India is unbeaten in the tournament, while Pakistan’s only loss so far has come against India.

Shubman Gill (47) and Abhishek Sharma (74) added the inaugural partnership of 105 runs to the Super Four Clash. Hardik Pandya (13*) and Tilak Verma (30*) remained unbeaten as India chased the target with seven balls.

Both sides will now meet in the Asia Cup 2025 finals on Sunday, September 28. This will be the first final between India and Pakistan in the continental tournament.
