The incident came to light when Abhishek Sharma was passing through the lobby of the team hotel before the match against Rajasthan Royals. In a moment of excitement, a young fan suddenly grabbed his hand without asking permission.
The unexpected interaction clearly made the left-handed batsman uncomfortable. His response revealed that although he values fans’ support, personal boundaries must also be respected. The security personnel immediately came forward and took control of the situation.

Abhishek Sharma performed brilliantly against the bowling attack of Rajasthan Royals. The explosive opener scored 57 runs off just 29 balls, and laid a strong foundation for Sunrisers Hyderabad while chasing the mammoth target of 229 runs with fearless strokeplay and complete control.
Abhishek maintained constant pressure on the bowlers and hit 11 fours and one six. He stitched a vital partnership of 132 runs for the second wicket with Ishan Kishan after the early dismissal of Travis Head in just 55 balls, swinging the momentum in favor of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Abhishek is at the top position in the race for the Orange Cap due to his excellent consistency this season. He has scored 380 runs in eight matches at an incredible strike rate of 212.29, including a highest score of 135, establishing himself as one of the most dangerous batsmen of the tournament.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals scored a huge score of 228 runs. Opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored his second century of the season and registered one of the fastest centuries in the history of the Indian Premier League by reaching the hundred mark in just 36 balls.
Suryavanshi scored 103 runs in 37 balls, which included five fours and 12 sixes. Dhruv Jurel and Donovan Ferreira made valuable contributions of 51 and 33 runs respectively. However, Ishan Kishan stole the limelight during the chase, scoring 74 off 31 balls and earning the Player of the Match award.
Sunrisers Hyderabad achieved the target in just 18.3 overs and extended their winning streak to four matches. With strong momentum, they will now head to Mumbai to face Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, April 29.
