Jofra Archer surprises Virat Kohli with a brilliant LBW trap at Edgbaston

Jofra Archer has cleverly planned the dismissal of Virat Kohli at Edgbaston. After bowling a short ball, the England fast bowler bowled a full and straight ball, aiming at the stumps.

Kohli tried to play a flick shot past his stumps towards the leg side. However, the former Indian captain missed the ball completely and the ball hit him right in front of the middle stump.

The England players immediately appealed and the umpire raised his finger without any hesitation and gave Kohli out LBW. The swashbuckling right-hander had a brief discussion with Shubman Gill about taking up the Decision Review System (DRS), but ultimately he decided against it.

Kohli knew the ball was clearly going to hit the stumps, so the chances of overturning the decision were slim. The result was that he had to return to the pavilion after scoring 5 runs on 6 balls. After his poor outing, fans started making fun of Kohli, with some calling him a liability.
