Ben Duckett’s century. In the series-deciding match against India, the England national cricket team batsman scored a blistering century at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. With the century, Ben Duckett became one of the few opening batsmen to register a century in both ODIs and Tests.
England’s opening batsman completed his century against India in spectacular fashion by hitting a four off the ball of India’s emerging fast bowler Gurnoor Brar on the second ball of the 36th over of the first innings of the game.
Ben Duckett easily completed his 100 runs
Without Jasprit Bumrah in the team, the Indian bowlers were barely able to trouble the experienced opener from touching the 100-run mark in the match. When the ball touched the ropes the crowd at Lord’s rose to its feet to mark Ben Duckett’s achievement. Duckett took off his helmet and raised his bat in acceptance.
