Ahead of tomorrow’s (July 19) race at the Spa-Francorchamps track, the racing star said that in all sports, younger talent is getting opportunities sooner because of better technology.
With improved technology, players are gaining valuable information about their game and how to improve their playing style. Additionally, Arvid Lindblad noted that Vaibhav Suryavanshi is performing well despite being only 15 years old.
“I think it’s happening in all sports. The technology is improving around it. We already get better information and that’s why there are really good youngsters who are performing really well. It happens in all sports, even in cricket, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is doing really well. He is very young. I think it’s just the nature of the game,” Arvid Lindblad said, via Sky Sports.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his debut in India at the age of 15
Suryavanshi made his Team India debut at the senior level at the age of just 15, breaking the record of the great Sachin Tendulkar, who debuted at the age of 16. Vaibhav Suryavanshi played his first match for the Indian national cricket team against England at the Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester.
So far, the left-hander has played three T20Is for the Men in Blue and is set to represent the country in the near future as well, as he has been named in several other series, including the T20I series against Zimbabwe and the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.
Currently, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is arguably the best hitter among the top cricket playing nations in the shortest format of the game. The Bihar-born player has made a positive impression for Rajasthan Royals and India A cricket team in the Indian Premier League.
