In a large-scale shock for the India National Cricket Team, star spin-bouling all-rounder Axar Patel feels that his head is hurt.
Exer Patel faced injuries during the 12th match of Asia Cup 2025 against the Oman National Cup 2025 against the Oman National Cricket Team at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday, 19 September.

Delhi Capital (DC) captain Exer Patel was removed from the Asia Cup 2025 as India’s T20I Vice-Captain and was replaced by Shubman Gill in the role.
Exer has been a top artist for India in white-ball cricket, and has made a significant impact with both bat and ball.
Exer has received good support from Assistant Employees led by Gautam Gambhir, and has consistently paid his confidence by showing good performance on the basis.
The 31 -year -old Asia Cup looked impressive with India’s two matches in 2025 and returned with 1/13 and 2/18 figures against the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
In those two matches, he did not find to bat as India’s top-order finished the match, but the all-rounder was promoted in an inconsistent match against Oman.
India changed their batting order to give all the batsmen against Oman, and Exer Patel came out to bat in number 5. He played an explosive knock of 26 runs off 13 balls, with 3 fours and one six at the top.
Then, in the second innings, he got an over with the ball where he conceded just 4 runs. He was not able to bowl any more overs due to being injured in the 15th over.
On the first ball of the 15th over, Shivam Dubey delivered Hammad Mirza one-one-one-one, who tried to cut it, but drove it away from Splis.
The ball went into the air, and it was a dolly for Axar Patel. However, the Indian all-rounder made a mess of simple catch and broke twice before leaving it. As soon as he fell down, his head gauged on the ground, and he immediately went out of the field.
Commentators told the on-air that all-rounders would remain out of action and be under the observation of the medical team.

Speaking in the toss, Oman captain Jatinder Singh said that playing against a big team like India is a great opportunity for him and will provide a side with a good explosion required to succeed internationally. He explained in detail:
“I must have batted before. Well, it is a great experience for us to take things from here. As you know, our team lacks experience and exposure. It will be a great platform for them to come out and play independently.
“100% sir. This is a big opportunity for us to share the dressing room with them (India). We will also take a look at their mindset.
“We have 2 changes from the previous game. Wasim Ali and Hasanan are going out. Madem comes in side and there is another player. I don’t remember.”
