Rajasthan Royals (RR) young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not performing well but is maintaining his dominance in the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026). This 15-year-old kid created a stir in IPL 2026 with his fearless and aggressive batting and made everyone convinced of his talent.
The excitement about the superstar of Rajasthan Royals is increasing with every match this season. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the current Orange Cap holder, having scored 200 runs at a whopping strike rate of over 250 in just four matches for the Royals so far in the tournament.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi eyes historic T20 record in SRH vs RR match
Meanwhile, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is now on the verge of achieving a big milestone in the IPL. The 15-year-old player is in great form and is now just one big innings away from creating history. The young sensation has a golden opportunity to equal the record which has remained untouched in T20 cricket for almost two decades during the SRH vs RR clash in Hyderabad on Monday.
Suryavanshi has already scored 901 runs in just 22 innings and needs only 99 more runs to equal the record of fastest 1,000 runs in T20 cricket history. The red-hot form batsman can achieve this feat today as SRH’s bowling attack has been weak so far and has been outplayed by all the teams.
This record has remained untouched since 2008 and is currently shared by Australian batsmen Brad Hodge and Shaun Marsh, both of whom scored 1000 runs in 23 innings. Hodge first set the milestone in 2006, while Marsh equaled it later in 2008.
