On Monday, July 28, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the England squad for the fifth and final Test match of the series against the India National Cricket Team.
The fifth Test match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 between the India National Cricket Team and the England National Cricket Team will begin on 31 July at Kennington Oval, London.

Jamie Overton added to Squad for fifth Test
The three Lions are currently furthering the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025. Despite dominating for about four days, he failed to win a win in a recent Test match at Old Trafford, Manchester, and the game ended in a draw.
Earlier, he won the third Test match at Lord’s by 22 runs at Lord’s in London and a Test series opener in Headingley in Leeds widely by 5 wickets.
His only defeat, so far, came to the second Test match in Edgbaston, Birmingham, where he was completely dropped by Shubman Gill -led India. The side led by Ben Stokes faced a loss of 336 runs in that game.
Meanwhile, the selection of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has added just one fresh for the squad for the final Test match against India.
The 31 -year -old all -rounder Jamie overton, who represented Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2025, has been added to the squad.
“The people of England create an additional for the squad for the final Roths Test against India at Kia Oval. The selection panel of England has started all-rounder Jamie Overton on the Rothese Fifth Test match for The Squad on Thursday 31 July at Kia Oval,” ECB said in an official media release.
