The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its 16-man squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against India, with Sussex all-rounder James Coles included in the England national cricket team for the first time.
England have included new faces along with experienced players as they prepare to give a tough challenge to India in the upcoming ODI series, starting on July 14 at Edgbaston.
The second ODI will be played on July 16 at Sophia Gardens, while the third and final match will be played on July 19 at the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground. Meanwhile, Steve Waugh praised Vaibhav Suryavanshi while predicting Ben Stokes’ U-turn in retirement.

Well, James Coles was included in the England squad for the first time for the ODI series against India at home. However, Jack Crawley was dropped from the ODI squad for the India series. Star fast bowler Josh Tongue will have a chance to make his ODI debut on home ground, the selectors are showing confidence in him. Apart from this, Gus Atkinson and Saqib Mahmood have returned to the ODI team.
