England Champions Officially announced its formidable T20 squad for the upcoming World Championship of Legends (WCL). To electrify fans from July 18 to August 2, 2025, this much awaited tournament will once again bring the legendary pre -international cricketers together in a thrilling T20 format. On the hull, guiding a mixture of experienced campaigners and explosive talent, there will be no one other than the England World Cup winning captain, Eoin MorganWhose strategic acumen and aggressive batting are expected to be important.
WCL Season 2: What do you expect?
The World Championship of Legends season 2 is structured for maximum entertainment. Six malignant teams – India Champion, Pakistan Champion, West Indies Champion, South Africa Champion, Australia Champion and England Champion – will fight it out. The tournament closes with a round-robin league stage, where each team will face every other team once. This format guarantees a minimum five matches for each side, allowing rivals to re -wake up and allow new people to emerge.
After the league stage, the top four teams in the standing will proceed to the semi -finals. In these knockout matches, the team will take the 4th position for the first time, and the team of another place challenged the third, which was established for thrilling competitions, where only the best will survive. The semi -final winners will then collide in the Grand Finals, who are ready for the WCL Season 2 title.
England Champions Squad for WLC 2025: A mixture of experience and power
Morgan’s leadership is undoubtedly the foundation stone of this England Champions Squad. White-Ball is known for its revolutionary approach to cricket, Morgan’s presence will be important in navigating the high-day atmosphere of WCL as captain. His ability to motivate and do decisive calls under pressure would be a major property.
The batting lineup has immense depth and experience. Including with Morgan Alastair Cook And Ian Bell provides a touch of classical elegance and rock-solid technology, which provides stability at the top of the order. While mainly known for their test skills, their adaptability and huge experience will be invaluable in T20 format. Usman Afzal scored the squad, adding another versatile option. This diverse bowling unit is capable of both raw motion and subtle variations, it will be important to restrict opposition batsmen that are expected of lively pitches.
