The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its playing eleven for the opening match of the three-match ODI series against the India national cricket team, which will be played at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Tuesday, July 14.
England have made an interesting change in the top order. Young all-rounder Jacob Bethel will open the batting with Ben Duckett, while experienced batsman Joe Root will bat at number three and Jos Buttler will be sent to the middle order.

Meanwhile, Shubman Gill has made a fresh start in the ODI series, shrugging off the T20I defeat.
