“Bowling-wise, I do not want to be rigid on any person, but I think he has got to play Kuldeep Yadav. I think it is an absolute no-burener. I think he is going to take a wicket and he will offer a lot more than the attack in this exam,” Clarke said in podcast.
Clarke also emphasized the importance of including Kuldeep in the lineup, suggesting that England could struggle against him. He said that if Kuldeep performs his best, it can become a significant turn in the series. Looking at England’s aggressive approach, Clarke said that facing quality wrist-spinners like Kuldeep could be a serious challenge for his batsmen.
“I am looking for every opportunity to play Kuldeep Yadav. England will find it difficult against Kuldeep. If Kuldeep is at the top of his game, it can be a decisive moment in the series, or moments, because England likes to be aggressive. When you want to be aggressive, you have to be sure how the ball is turning,” Clarke further said.
