Former Pakistan National Cricket Team batsman Bajid Khan has shared his adventurous views on the 15-man squad of the India National Cricket Team for the Asia Cup 2025.
Bajid Khan said that India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has always been ineffective against Pakistan, and the team will definitely remember Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma of the modern day in the continental tournament.

Suryakumar Yadav will lead India in the upcoming Asia Cup, and Shubman Gill is named as his deputy. The team consists of explosive batsmen like Abhishek Sharma, Shivam Dubey, Rinku Singh and Hardik Pandya, while Jasprit Bumrah will lead the bowling unit with the supreme talented Arshdeep Singh.

In the spin department, India has the choice of Varun Chakraborty, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel, while Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma have been selected as two wickets-keeping options.
The BCCI Selection Committee has also selected Yashsvi Jaiswal, Prasad Krishna, Washington Sundar, Ryan Parag, and Dhruv Juraral as standbis, but the squad had no place for the choice of Mohammed Sirj, Shreyas Iyer and Prasad Krishna in the squad.
India will play a Marki tournament after a very long time in the absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, which has retired from T20I cricket, and Bajid Khan believes that both will be remembered.
Speaking on PTV sports, Bajid Khan said that the Indian squad consists of ‘high -class’ players, but Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s experience and intensity are missing.
“Look, all these players are high -ranked. There is no one here that you will say that it is not of that caliber. But the high intensity that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma brought into the game, this is something that India will definitely remember,” Bazid said, as is quoted by TOI.
Against Pakistan, Suryakumar Yadav was not effective – Bajid Khan
Bajid Khan further said that India captain Suryakumar Yadav does not have a good record against Pakistan and he has always struggled, which is a big issue. He said:
“Suryakumar score runs against almost all, but somehow it has not been effective against Pakistan. Whether it is a speed attack or any other reason, it remains an issue.”
The claim made by Bajid is somewhat correct, as the 34 -year -old batsman has scored the best of 18 and an average of 12.80 and has a strike rate of 118.51 in 5 innings against the Pakistan National cricket team in T20I cricket.
Jadeja was the person who actually helped the team jail – Bajid Khan
Apart from Kohli and Rohit, Bajid said that the Indian team will remember veteran all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja in the Asia Cup 2025.
The former Pakistan player said that Jadeja helped the team together in jail and contributed to the three departments. He said:
“People talk about Virat and Rohit, but Jadeja was someone who really helped in the team’s jail. Axer Patel is there, but Jadeja balanced you as a bowler, and at the top, and topped the top as a batsman, and above, in world cricket, Jadeja was one of the top one or two fielders.”
