During the Abu Dhabi T10 match, Tim David fiercely imitated Sunil Narine’s bowling action.

Australian batsman Tim David copied the bowling action of his teammate Sunil Narine during the Abu Dhabi T10 League match between UAE Bulls and Aspin Stallions. The batsman was a complete entertainer in the game as he produced a brilliant all-round performance.

Abu Dhabi T10 is a new tournament that was started to let world cricketers enjoy their game in a shorter period of time. There are some fearless strikes by the batsmen in the game, and the bowlers do not get enough time to settle down.

The recent game between UAE Bulls and Aspin Stallions witnessed some funny and entertaining scenes when the two teams clashed on November 30.

Kieron Pollard saw that the Bulls had won the match quite early and hence he called on Tim David to bowl the final over of the innings. 86 runs were needed to win and Karim Janat was at the crease in front of David.

The big Australian, who had already entertained the crowd with his brilliant batting performances, also mocked the batsmen by trying out different bowling actions. During this, he imitated Sunil Narine on the third ball of the over.

Notably, Narine also plays for the UAE Bulls and is the teammate of the big Australian batsman. David gave just 5 runs in the over and gave Bulls their fourth win by a margin of 80 runs.

Tim David comes close to a century in the 10 over tournament

After being invited to bat first, the UAE Bulls team really looked like a bull team as Phil Salt was sent in to open the innings along with James Vince. Despite an early injury to Vince that forced him off the field, Salt played a small role, but the real showmanship came when he was dismissed.

Tim David was sent to no. 4, and after the ball fell into his slot a few times at the beginning of the innings, he never looked back. The total carnage of the big Australian’s innings shattered the Stallions’ bowlers.

Tim David missed his century by just 2 runs, scoring an unbeaten inning of 98 runs off just 30 balls with 12 sixes and 3 fours and a strike rate of 326.66. However, by the time David could reach the three-figure mark in 10 overs of play, the overs were over.

Kieron Pollard’s team is in top 4 in Abu Dhabi T10 points table

A total of 8 teams are involved in Abu Dhabi T10 and the top four teams reach the knockouts. Currently, both the Stallions and Bulls are in the top 4 positions of the competition. The Bulls have won 4 matches and lost the same number of matches, while the Stallions have won 4 but lost 3 matches.

The UAE Bulls team is led by T20 veteran Kieron Pollard, as the all-rounder still plays in global franchise leagues around the world. He has just left international cricket and serves as a coach in the IPL. He has also taken on consulting roles for international teams.
