Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been a sensational talent for the India national cricket team. The teenage sensation had already made his debut for the Men in Blue in the England T20I series but failed to make much of an impact. After this he was ousted and now he has spoken openly about the ups and downs he has faced in the last few months.
Ahead of the Zimbabwe T20I series, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has talked about his poor form in the England tour, and that he is ready to give his best for the team as ups and downs are part of life. With Sanju Samson being rested for this series, Vaibhav is expected to start the first match on Thursday.

Speaking on BCCI TV, Vaibhav spoke candidly about the guidance and coaches making themselves available to him and helping him whenever needed. The 15-year-old also said that he is in good mental condition ahead of the first match at the Harare Cricket Ground, Zimbabwe.
“Yes, there have been many ups and downs in the last four months. It is part of cricket, it will keep happening but I have to follow the process and give my 100 percent for the team,” Suryavanshi said on ‘BCCI TV’.
“It’s clear that whatever I want (guidance etc.), the coach is providing it and I am getting whatever practice I need. It feels great, the confidence is there too,” he said.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was almost in tears after being dropped from the team after three matches, as the team management also faced a lot of criticism from former cricketers for not supporting the Boy Wonder and bringing Sanju Samson back into the team after three matches.
The 15-year-old will look to regain his confidence and score some runs in the upcoming tour. He just needs one innings to showcase his talent in international cricket. Hopefully, he will score some runs in the first T20 match in Harare on Thursday and silence those who doubted his performance.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi recalls his under-19 final innings
Vaibhav has fond memories of Zimbabwe as he became U19-champion on this ground. He won the Player of the Tournament award for his exceptional performances in major tournaments, scoring 439 runs in the tournament, including a match-winning century in the final.
In the final against England, Vaibhav played a stormy inning of 175 runs with the help of 15 fours and as many sixes in 80 balls and snatched the match from the Three Lions and India won the match by a huge margin of 100 runs. He would like to repeat something similar at this place where he will return after four months.
In the same video, he said, “This is a very memorable ground for me. Just four months ago we played the Under-19 World Cup final and won, so this is a very special ground. It is everyone’s dream to represent India and this is a very special moment.”
“I am playing on the ground where we won the Under-19 World Cup four months ago and created history (and) it will be a completely different feeling to return to the ground and play here… really enjoying it,” he said.
