Why does the report matter?
These claims are true as the Indian team management has been trying out many emerging talents who have performed well across all formats, either in the IPL or in domestic cricket. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not the only batsman who has impressed the selectors and is now a part of the T20 squad and teams across the other two formats.
Suryansh Shedge, Ravi Bishnoi and Prince Yadav are among the notable names who have been selected for T20 International cricket. For the Zimbabwe series, the selectors have named a bunch of other emerging players who were impressive with their respective franchises in the previous edition of the Indian Premier League.
Harsh Dubey, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh and even Mayank Yadav have been named for the upcoming T20 series against Zimbabwe.
