Anna Brumwell shared updates from her vacation with Will Jacques on Instagram. The couple visited Morocco last week before traveling to Paris. Anna is Jacques’ high-school girlfriend, and they have been together since they were 14 years old in England.
Jacques got engaged to Anna Brumwell during the Ashes tour in Australia earlier this year. She also posted photos from the Alex Warren concert in Paris. Mumbai Indians fans were unhappy to see the holiday posts while the team was struggling in the IPL.

Jacques had performed brilliantly for England in the T20 World Cup in India. He scored 226 runs and took nine wickets in eight matches and won four player of the match awards. He helped England reach the semi-finals before losing to the Indian team.

Mumbai Indians head coach Mahela Jayawardene talked about Will Jacques after the team’s defeat to Rajasthan Royals. He acknowledged that there is no clear timeline for Jax’s return. Jayawardene said, “Will Jacques has still not joined the team. We hope he will join the team soon.”
Mumbai Indians are struggling to find the right balance without Jacques. He played Allah Ghazanfar in the first match but was dropped for Mitchell Santner against Delhi Capitals. The team then used five regular bowlers against Rajasthan Royals but still lost.
Mumbai Indians need a reliable spinner to control the middle overs. Jack can deliver success and can also bat at the top order. The franchise retained him for more than Rs 5 crore, but his absence is affecting the balance of the team.
Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians in a rain-affected clash
Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Mumbai Indians in a rain-interrupted 11-over match. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal added 80 runs in just 30 balls. Suryavanshi hit many sixes on Jasprit Bumrah. Rajasthan scored 150/3 against bowlers like Trent Boult, Bumrah and Shardul Thakur.
In reply, Mumbai Indians’ batting collapsed. Hardik Pandya and others failed, leaving the team’s score at 46/5 in five overs. Sherfane Rutherford and Naman Dheer added 47 runs to reduce the loss.
Mumbai Indians lost this match by 27 runs, which affected their net run rate. They slipped to seventh place in the IPL points table and will next face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday, April 12, at the Wankhede Stadium.
