Star all-rounder Deandra Dottin was seen being carried off the field, leaving her West Indies women’s national cricket teammates worried as she is one of the team’s most experienced and important players.
The shocking moment happened minutes before the start of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final between West Indies and Australia. Television cameras showed Dottin unable to walk on her own as several West Indies players helped her off the field.
She was seen in obvious pain and distress. While the match has started at the Oval, there is still no update on Dottin as to what exactly happened, or how serious the problem is.
