Daryl Mitchell has overtaken India national cricket team great Virat Kohli to take the No. 1 spot in the latest ICC men’s ODI batting rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday, January 1.

Daryl Mitchell has been hovering around the top 5 of the ICC men’s ODI batting rankings for quite some time now, but before him Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli reached the No. 1 spot.
However, with his sensational performance in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against the Indian team, the Kiwi batsman finally managed to become the world No. 1 batsman.
