England women’s team opening batsman Danny Wyatt-Hodge is the first batsman to cross the 300-run mark in the ongoing 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup. She is now the only cricketer in women’s international cricket to achieve the record in a single tournament.
Danny Wyatt-Hodge achieved the feat during the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup final against Australia Women at the iconic Lord’s cricket ground. However she was out early in the match and scored only 8 runs from 9 balls.

Australian bowler Annabel Sutherland dismissed the star batsman on the fifth ball of the fifth over of the first innings of the match. Beth Mooney took a difficult catch on the leg side. She faltered in the first attempt but in the second attempt she kept herself in good position and dismissed the dangerous batsman early in the match.
According to Cricbuzz on their website, “300 runs for Danny Wyatt-Hodge in this tournament – the first batsman to do so in a singles Women’s T20 World Cup.”
