Dale Steyn ignored India as it reveals his ‘second love in cricket’ between Zim vs SA1 Test

Former South African fast bowler Dale Stan shared his support for Zimbabwe during the first test of the two -match series between the two teams. Queens Sports Club in BulwayoStan called Zimbabwe’s national cricket team its “second love” after the South African national cricket team.

South Africa fell to 55/4 in the initial session of day 1

South Africa handed over the Test debut to Lhan-Draw Pretorians, Developed Bravis, and Medium-Paper Kodi Yusuf in their first Test match in Zimbabwe since 2014. Zimbabwe’s bowlers exploited supportive circumstances on the opening day of the match, reducing them by 55/4 during the first session.

Pretorious became only the seventh South African to score a century on Test debut. He pairing a 95 -run partnership with Brevis, who scored 51 off 41 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes. Brevis was rejected after reaching its half -century.

Pretorius continued to anchor the innings, reaching his hundred in the 50th over, to Wellington Masakadza to one place. The left -handed batsman scored 153 off 160 balls, including 11 four and four sixes, before being rejected by Tanaka Chivanga.

Lohan-Dray Pretorians and Corbin Bosch Flatten Zimbabwe in centuries

Pretorious became the youngest player in Test History, scoring a century. He also left behind Graeme Pollock to become South Africa’s youngest Test Centurion. Pretorius has now scored four hundreds of runs in only eight first -class matches, including one in the debut last December.

Young batsman and Corbin Bosch, who was stuck on 81* in his previous test, shared a significant 108-run partnership for the seventh wicket. Bosch reached his hundred with the help of the last man Quena Mafaka and reached his hundred. He remained unbeaten on 124 balls including 10 fours.

Keshav Maharaj (21) and Kodi Yusuf (27) added useful runs in the lower order, lasting 400 to South Africa. Tanaka Chivanga was a bowlers’ pick for Zimbabwe with 4/83 figures in 16 overs. The home team announced their first innings at 418/9.
