India has once again nominated Chennai’s Super Kings Batter Ayush Matre as the Indian U-19 side captain, which is for Australia for the upcoming tour of India.

Ayush Matre to lead India against Australia

The Mumbai batsman, who turned to CSK during IPL 2.0, will be seen leading the Indian Under -19 team in a multi -reversal tour for the Australian island nation, which is to be played from September 21.

The series will be played before the introduction of India’s White-Ball Tour for Australia in October, probably marking the return of two Indians, Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma for the ODI format.

All three-day games of India will be played at the same place in the series, Ian Heli Oval in Brisbane, followed by two multi-day events, Ian Heli Oval and next in McKay, will end on October 10.

Mhatre was India’s leading run-song in the Test series against England U-19, where he scored 340 runs in 4 innings, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi won 3-2 in 5 innings with 355 runs in the run chart in the ODI series.

After a successful series in England, many players have maintained their spots in the Indian U-19 squad. Youth Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Kanishka Chauhan, Henil Patel’s choice, D. Deepesh, Rahul Kumar, Hurtash Singh, RS Ambrish, Anmoljit Singh and Naman Pushpak have all maintained their spots.

Among them, D. Deepash and Naman Pushpak were brought as an injury replacement in England tour and have managed to maintain their spots in the upcoming series as well.

In the new inclusion, Kishan Kumar, Udhav Mohan, Khilan Patel and Aman Chauhan have been nominated for the Australian tour. Khilon Patel remembered the tour of England after facing a tension injury in his right leg.

In addition to the 18-Massive squad, the Indian side has also announced a set of 4 more players as standby players for the upcoming series.
