Dhoni remains an unsolved puzzle in IPL 2026
Chennai Super Kings is still in the title race as they have been successful in winning many games in their last few matches. At this crucial point of the tournament, when the team has started showing some promising cricket on the field in pressure situations, CSK fans are wondering when the icon will play his first match in the current season. Due to injury before the start of the season, the team management revealed that MS Dhoni will not play many matches in the initial part of IPL 2026.
Half of the tournament has passed, the last leg of the group stage is going on, but there is still no sign of MS Dhoni on the yellow field. This is disappointing for CSK fans as they have no clarity about MSD’s fitness whether he will play or not; It is like an unsolved puzzle now. Before every match of CSK, fans keep an eye on social media pages and media reports to get any concrete information about ‘Captain Cool’. Earlier the news had come that Dhoni is not with the team in Delhi. CSK’s bowling coach only confirms the news and keeps the puzzle as unsolved as before.
Who will play in place of Ramakrishna Ghosh?
However, Chennai Super Kings will have to find a replacement for the Delhi Capitals match. Ramakrishna Ghosh, who made his IPL debut in their previous match against Mumbai Indians, has been ruled out of the rest of the season due to a leg injury. It will be interesting to see who will be selected in place of Ghosh.
