The CSK CEO believes that they did not do anything different compared to other franchises in the league. For him, Dhoni is the main factor that makes Chennai Super Kings different from other franchises in the country.

“I don’t think we do anything different from any other team. Look, basically, I would attribute the fan base because a guy named Mr. MS Dhoni is the captain, and he is the same guy who has brought so much success to CSK,” the franchise CEO claimed during a conversation with RevSportz.
“And the most important thing is that CSK as a franchise has been consistent in its performance. That is the most important thing. If you are consistent in performing for the cricket public, they will always have love for the team,” he said.
CSK CEO told about the poor form of the team in recent times
Kasi Vishwanathan admitted that the team’s performance has not been good in the last few seasons. According to him, the team is currently going through a phase of change, which is common in sports. To progress in the league and achieve repeated success, the franchise will also have to consider some changes in the future.
“And also, if you have a captain of MS’s calibre, I think automatically there is a bigger fan following. We respect the fans. We know we have not performed well in the last few years, but that is bound to happen because there is always change, and with time, we also have to change and try to be as consistent as before,” the CSK CEO added.
