Amid Chennai Super Kings (CSK)’s poor performance in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), franchise CEO Kasi Viswanathan himself provided the latest update on the fitness of MS Dhoni.
Former captain and team icon MS Dhoni is yet to be seen in IPL 2026 for Chennai Super Kings. Without the 44-year-old in the line-up, the team has suffered three consecutive defeats. In this time of crisis, the fans of the team are eagerly waiting to see the legendary keeper-batsman in action.
When will MS Dhoni return for CSK in IPL 2026?
Ahead of CSK’s next match of IPL 2026, Kasi Vishwanathan said that the former international cricketer has not fully recovered yet, and it may take a few more days. The CEO also provided an update on another injured player, Dewald Brewis. The Braves have a chance to bounce back in the next game.
Kasi Viswanathan told Cricbuzz, “MS Dhoni is still progressing, there is no definite timeline for his return yet. Meanwhile, Dewald Brevis is being monitored closely and if the recovery goes well, he could be back for the next game.”
