Many young players are consistently performing for their respective international teams and have attracted the attention of fans and experts. And now Moin Ali and Adil Rashid have filtered the batsmen, who can be considered as the next Big Four.
The first name chosen by Moeen Ali was the captain of India Test Shubman Gill, who scored more than 700 runs in the recent Test series against England.
“Shubman Gill, the way he makes bats and the way he makes it quite easy. In this series, his technology has grown much better. The sound man and he is a top player, very good, very elegant and stylish.
“There are some things that you see for a batsman, some shots or some things that a batsman is one of them, and cannot do so much. The way he is batting right now, it seems that he is completely under control,” Moeen Ali said on the beard before the wicket.
He is a quality player – Moin Ali on Yashasvi Jiswal
Moeen Ali said that Yashasvi Jiswal will be the second player in his list as India’s opener has scored in various circumstances and has no weakness.
“You are going to be two from India. He is a quality player. I will put him in 100%. He is played in India when these wickets have been ragging.
“They are not flat wickets. Australia, far, really did well. And now England, he has done well. He is very difficult to bowl. You see him playing, and there is nothing that stands out as a weakness. He really plays well. Jofof harasses him a little, but still he is a run-well.
Brooke, Gill, Jaiswal … I will be Bethle – Adil Rashid
Veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid said that Harry Brook, Shubman Gill, Yashsvi Jaiswal and emerging all-rounder Jacob Bethel will be the next Big Four.
“Brook, Gill, Jaiswal … I will have Bethel. In the next five or six years he will be there,” Rashid said.
Meanwhile, Moin said that he would choose Harry Brook and Rachin Ravindra with Gill and Jaywal, and if the fifth pick is given, he would go with Jacob Bethel.
“Many people know that he (Bethel) has not scored 100 in any professional cricket, but the way he is a bats. Their issue is really going to get some injuries. He is very injured. He is very talented, talented, talented players. He has got good power. I like their technology.
“So three (Brooke, Gill, and Jaiswal) are there, and I am going to go with Ravindra, and I am going with Bethel at the age of 5,” Moen said.
