CSA T20 Knockout Competition 2025 The tournament will begin in South Africa on 24 October and will last for a month and conclude with the final on 23 November. This sixth edition featured seven provincial teams competing for the title, including the defending champions Tuskers. With a pure knockout format, each match has high stakes and the potential for dramatic upsets.
CSA T20 Knockout Competition 2025: Tournament format and teams
The competition hosts the following teams:
- Limit
- easterly storm
- knights
- Limpopo Impalas
- mpumalanga rhinoceros
- Northern Cape Heat
- South Western District
After the initial round of fixtures, the top teams advance to Qualifier 1 and Eliminator, followed by Qualifier 2 and then the Grand Final. This format puts immediate pressure on teams to perform, as an early defeat means being out of the trophy race.
Matches will be played across a range of venues including Kimberley, Polokwane, East London, Oudtshoorn and Bloemfontein, with different playing conditions available.
