One of such cricketers is Vaishnavi Sharma. She was recently caught on camera uttering some indecent words when she missed a good chance for a run-out.

India played the fourth T20 match of the series against Sri Lanka Thiruvananthapuram. Indian women had already won the series with three consecutive wins in this match. Batting first, Smriti Mandhana scored her first half-century of the series, and Shafali Verma scored her third half-century of the series.
In the end, India reached a mammoth score of 221 runs in their 20 overs with Richa Ghosh playing a stylish inning of 40 runs off just 16 balls. Mandhana also crossed the mark of 10000 runs in women’s international cricket.
During the Lankan innings, when wickets were not coming easily and the Indian bowlers were failing to chase the target, Vaishnavi Sharma got a golden opportunity to run out Harshita Samarawickrama, but as her throw was away from the wickets, the batsman crossed the mark before Ghosh reached the stumps.

Who is India’s rising star Vaishnavi Sharma?
Vaishnavi Sharma is a 20-year-old young spinner from Madhya Pradesh who came into limelight with her performance in the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup. She was one of the key members of the title-winning Under-19 women’s team at the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup.
Gwalior-born Vaishnavi had already created history by becoming the first cricketer from the Chambal region to represent India in senior level cricket. In 2022-23, it had received Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy for the best female cricketer in junior domestic cricket.
Trained at the Tansen Cricket Academy, Vaishnavi started her career with Chambal and has now reached the national level. He along with his under-19 teammate G. Kamalini earned a place in the Indian team and played the first few matches with fellow MP teammate Kranti Gaur.

He played a major role for India in the Under-19 T20 World Cup by taking 17 wickets in 6 matches, which also included 5 wickets and 5 wickets against teams like England and South Africa.
This momentum was carried over to the domestic tournament, where she took 21 wickets in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy and then emerged as the top wicket-taker in the Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 tournament with 12 wickets.
