In the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, the India vs Sri Lanka Super Four Clash had everything from the banged knock to the nail-biting super over and even a dose of comedy which used to leave the chakli. While the match itself was packed with a drama in Dubai on Friday (26 September), there was a commentary box in Splits before the first ball.
As the India National Cricket Team prepared to go out to bat, everyone hoped Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill to take the general explosive opening pair in the middle. But as soon as the cameras turned to the dressing room, the cameraman decided to play a light prank.
Instead of focusing on Abhishek Sharma, the camera was zoom on Tilak Verma, who stood right next to Shubman Gill. The commentators and fans watching on TV were confused, thinking that Tilak was suddenly opening the innings with Gill.
