England veteran all -rounder Chris Woakes on Monday, September 29, officially announced his retirement from international cricket. The all -rounder, who won two World Cups with the national cricket team, decided after being out of the squad for the upcoming Ashes series in Australia.
Vox disliked his shoulder during the fifth test against India in summer. He has decided not to return international. Its central contract was not renewed and England planning a new test cycle in the next summer, he would conclude his career to play domestic cricket instead of making a comeback.

Chris saw the last players for England in Oval Test vs India
Chris Woakes completed his international career with 62 Tests, 122 Odis and 33 T20I. He last played for England during the Oval Test, where he went to the crease at number 11 with his arm in a softening. However, he failed to help England win a series.
Vox took 192 wickets in Tests and 204 wickets at the international level of limited overs. He has a rare achievement of appearing in all three honors boards in Lord’s. He was also part of England’s 2019 World Cup Triumph and 2022 T20 World Cup victory.
