Legendary West Indies batter Chris Gayle has chosen an all-time IPL playing XI that recently included some of the biggest superstars of the game. Gayle was not included in the six -time IPL trophy winner Rohit Sharma, and there was no place for Mumbai Indians (MI) players Hardik Pandya and Lasith Malinga.
Chris Gayle played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBK) during his career. He scored 4,965 runs in 142 matches at an average of 39.72 and a strike rate of 148.97, including six centuries and 31 half -centuries. He also won the Orange Cap twice with RCB.

Known for his adventures in the IPL, Chris Gayle has revealed his all-time IPL XI. He included seven Indian players and four foreign stars, but Rohit Sharma was not included.

Gayle chose himself and his former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team partner Virat Kohli as the initial pair. Kohli is one of the most run-scores in IPL history, while one of the most devastating openers seen by Gayle League.
In particular, Rohit Sharma has scored more than 6,500 runs in the IPL for Mumbai Indians (MI) and Deccan Chargers (DC). Rohit won six titles, including five as five MI captains. His omission increased eyebrows in the cricket community.

Gayle placed Suresh Raina at number 3 and AB de Villiers at number 4. KL Rahul has been included as an additional batsman. Gayle also supported three Chennai Super Kings (CSK) stallwarts, including Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo, who are in the playing XI.
Jadeja’s inclusion increased some eyebrows, as they cannot be considered among very good IPL players. However, his all-round capabilities earned him a place in the lineup.
Gayle snatched Hardik Pandya as an all -rounder at XI. Hardik has won five IPL titles since its debut and has also inspired the Gujarat Titans (GT) as Captain in 2022 for the title.

Gayle chose Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) cricketer Sunil Narin as a specialist spinner at his all-time IPL XI. Jasprit Bumrah saw the pace attack as his bowling partner with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In particular, Gayle chose not to include Lasith Malinga in his XI.

Gayle holds a record for the highest personal score in the IPL. Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, he in 2013. The Chinnaswamy Stadium scored 175 runs from just 66 balls against Pune Warriors, including 13 fours and 17 sixes.
Gayle played 85 matches for RCB, an average of 3,163 runs of 43.33 and a strike rate of 152.73, including five centuries and 19 fifty.
After joining Punjab Kings in 2018, he played 41 matches in four sessions. The left -handed batsman scored 1,339 runs on an average of 36.19 and a strike rate of 143.21 with a century and 10 fifties.
