Mitchell Marsh leads the way as Perth Scorchers aim for their sixth BBL title
Australian captain Mitchell Marsh redefined his aura with a brilliant innings in the BBL final in the shortest format of the game. Although the innings was not very fast from a batting point of view, Marsh’s run-a-ball 44 helped the Scorchers to a low-scoring thriller.
After bowling out the Sixers for just 132, the Scorchers eventually chased down 133 in 17.3 overs and won their sixth title in BBL history. The captain’s morale is quite high ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup campaign in India and Sri Lanka.
Several players from the ICC T20 World Cup squad for Australia are part of the Perth Scorchers, a team that includes Mitchell Marsh, Josh Inglis and Cooper Connolly. The Scorchers won their sixth title with 6 wickets to spare.
Perth Scorchers beat Sydney Sixers for a record fourth time in the BBL final

Having played in 9 finals in the history of the BBL, they have an amazing conversion rate and have defeated the Sydney Sixers for a record four of the six times they have won the Big Bash League title.
In contrast, the Sydney Sixers have defeated the Perth Scorchers twice in the BBL finals. Therefore, both teams have competed in a total of 6 out of 15 BBL finals.
