The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rolled out free and cheap tickets for the upcoming two -match testing series against South Africa, as they expect to revive the interest of fans in Test cricket in many countries of Asia including India.
During the previous Pakistan series against England, which ended in a 2–1 defeat for visitors, barely 1000 spectators showed for the first test.
The second and third tests in Multan and Rawalpindi were no different, although Pakistan dominated. PCB remedies come from the ideology of wooing the audience back in stadiums. However, there have been some sports exceptions, as a match in India A vs Australia in Kanpur attracted a big and lively audience.

The nation of Pakistan, which has been weak in the history of the ICC World Test Championship, is not the only side to struggle with this Fiysco of the vacant stand in red-ball matches.
Highly successful testing nation India has also seen a low turnout for its domestic trials. The first test against the West Indies in Ahmedabad, which was recently played, was marked one of the largest stadiums in India.
Some people have quoted that Virat Kohli, one of India’s greatest test stars, may be the reason for the decline in the number of fans who witnessed their famous batsman live in action.
