Brett Lee has named 12 prestigious players in its all -time Asian T20I team. The squad is dominated by the Indian cricket superstar. Lee has chosen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma – both retired from T20I cricket last year after winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2025 in the USA and West Indies.

His selection reflects India’s dominance in T20 cricket. Rohit Sharma is the leading run-scorer in T20I cricket with 4,231 runs, and Virat Kohli is the third major run-scorer with 4,188 runs. On the other hand, MS Dhoni captained India to win the first T20 World Cup in 2007.
The legendary Indian wicketkeeper-bitter finished his T20I career with more than 1,600 runs in about 100 matches. Both Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah are the big-match winners of India, both are in both houses and distant. However, Lee surprised everyone by ignoring one of the greatest all -rounders, Yuvraj Singh.

Well, Lee then chose two Pakistan players, and they are Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf. Pakistan wicketkeeper-boss Mohammad Rizwan, who was ignored for the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, is currently at seventh position with 3,414 in T20I.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf brings experience and firepower for the Australian Great star-staded line-up. Haris is about to take the top wicket of Pakistan, including 124 scalps in T20I cricket.
For spin options, Lee chose Vanindu Hasranga of Sri Lanka and Spin Wizard Rashid Khan of Afghanistan, both were ranking the top wickets in T20 cricket. While Hasranga has 131 wickets in 79 T20I Games, Rashid has taken 170 wickets in 100 games in his name format.

Brett Lee chose Hong Kong and UAE players
Surprisingly, Lee also nominated Hong Kong’s Babur Hayat and UAE’s Amjad Javed and Mohammad Neveda to complete a competitive team from all over Asia. Hong Kong batsman Babur Hayat has so far scored 2216 runs in 95 T20I games.
On the other hand, UAE all -rounder Amjad Javed has 271 runs and 33 wickets in 22 T20s, and bowler Mohammad Naved has 37 wickets in 31 T20I.
