Former Australian cricketer Brad Haddin has recently criticized the Asia Cup 2025 squad at Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar for criticizing foreign cricketers to give opinion on Indian fingers.

Brad Hadin, who worked with Shreyas Iyer earlier this year as an assistant coach of Punjab Kings on IPL 2025, was also surprised by his captain’s snub. It did not sit well with Gavaskar, and he questioned his right to comment on Indian cricket.

Sunil Gavaskar wrote in his column for Sportstar: “Foreigners who have no stake in Indian cricket and very little knowledge about it were introduced into debate, fueling fuel. Although they can be the great players and although they can be in India many times, the selection of the Indian team should focus on their country’s cricket.”
Now, Hadin responded to the comment of Gavaskar in a sarcastic fashion. Former Australian cricketer has stated that his job as analysts is to discuss major cricket topics around the world, especially when it has been included with players with whom they have worked closely.
