Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who had every chance of getting back into the playing eleven in the ODIs, has suffered a serious injury as he was seen limping after being hit by the ball during the net session ahead of the first match in Vadodara.
India will play its first match of 2026 against New Zealand at home. The series consists of three ODIs, and the first game begins tomorrow, January 11, at the Vadodara Cricket Ground.

When Rishabh Pant was batting in Vadodara, once again a ball hit his feet and he had to leave the field in pain and disappointment. Pant recently came back after a long process where he had to undergo rehabilitation after fracturing his leg during the England Test series match in Manchester.
