For South Africa as star batsman David Miller, Big Blow has been dropped from the upcoming three -match T20I series against England, starting on Wednesday, 10 September at Sophia Garden in Cardiff. David Miller, who is known for his explosive batting, faced a correct hamstring tension for northern supervisors playing in a hundred 2025.
The explosive batsman failed to overcome the injury on time, forcing him to remember all three T20I matches in England. Earlier, Miller also recalled South Africa’s T20i tours for Zimbabwe and Australia.

Despite its absence, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has decided not to call a replacement, as they announced a young team to face the English side in the upcoming T20I series. Recently, The Proteas Side won the ODI Series 2–1 against England and targeted another victory on the tour.

The CSA said in an official statement on its social media handle, X: “David Miller has been excluded from the upcoming T20I series against England due to a correct hamstring tension. Miller has replaced the injury during the last week of hundred, representing the northern supervisors. He is unable to restore on time for the T20I series.”
Meanwhile, former South African all-rounder Albie Morkel is named as Bowling Advisor for the upcoming T20I series against England. “Albee joined the T20I support staff as a bowling advisor for the Morkel series,” the CSA said.

The upcoming three-match T20 series between England and South African side is set to kick at Cardif’s Sophia Garden on Wednesday. After the T20I series opener, the action will be transferred to Old Trafford in Manchester before wrapping on Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
