Indian fast bowler Yash Dayal has received temporary relief from the Rajasthan High Court in a highly sensitive case, which had put his cricket career in serious danger. At present, Rajasthan High Court has reportedly given interim protection to Yash Dayal.
Rajasthan High Court gives interim relief to Dayal
This means that the police cannot take the Indian cricketer into custody at this time. According to the report of Filmi Mantra, this order was given by a single bench of Justice Ganesh Ram Meena while hearing the anticipatory bail plea of Dayal in the Rajasthan High Court.
The court clearly said that this relief is temporary. It also told the RCB fast bowler that he should fully cooperate with the police investigation and follow all legal instructions properly. The case is still ongoing and the court will consider all the facts and evidence in the next hearing.

Yash Dayal’s troubles increased due to second FIR in Jaipur
This relief has come at a time when Yash Dayal’s career was in danger due to serious allegations. In July 2025, a second FIR was registered against him at Sanganer Sadar police station in Jaipur. The complaint alleges repeated sexual assault of a minor.
According to the FIR, the victim was 17 years old at the time of the first alleged incident in 2023. The complaint further claimed that Dayal assaulted her again in 2025 at a hotel in Jaipur. Due to the nature of the allegations, the police registered a case under Section 64 of the Indian Judicial Code, which carries a minimum prison sentence of 10 years.
Ghaziabad case
Sections of POCSO Act have also been added to the FIR, due to which the matter has become even more serious. The Jaipur case comes just weeks after another rape complaint was filed against Yash Dayal in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. In that case, the woman had accused Dayal of mental, physical and financial exploitation in a five-year relationship under the false promise of marriage.

However, the Allahabad High Court had stayed his arrest in that case. Now, with two serious cases being registered in different states, the pressure on the cricketer has increased considerably. These orders have provided only temporary relief to Dayal, but the investigation is still ongoing and the final decision will depend on what the police finds and what the court decides based on the evidence.

Talking about Yash Dayal, he is a left-arm fast bowler who represents Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has an excellent record across all formats but is yet to make his debut for India.
In first-class cricket, Dayal has taken 84 wickets in 27 matches. He has 36 wickets in 23 List A matches and 66 wickets in 71 T20 matches. In the IPL, he has taken 41 wickets in 43 matches while playing for RCB and Gujarat Titans in the league. Dayal played an important role in RCB’s first title win last year.
