RCB will face Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans in the final. Before the match, RCB is considered a strong contender to capture the trophy. According to Indian Express, Bengaluru City Police has banned all types of public gatherings, bike rallies, speeding, unnecessary honking and even match screening in public without prior permission.
The police are taking several precautionary measures based on the lessons learned from last year’s tragic incident. Last year, RCB won its first IPL title after a wait of 18 years. To grace the occasion, the franchise organized a street rally with fans, followed by a function at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
A chaotic festival led to 11 deaths in 2025
Countless numbers of fans gathered on the streets to be a part of the celebration. The situation gradually went out of control. The moment of joy was overshadowed by mourning as 11 fans lost their lives in a stampede outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
