LSG fast bowler Mohsin Khan has once again taken a wicket for the first time in this edition of IPL. This is the third time he has achieved this unique feat and his celebration against the KKR opener looked wild.
Lucknow Super Giants have undoubtedly been one of the best seam-bowling teams of this edition of the IPL, despite Punjab Kings scoring big against them. Their bowlers have also dominated the batting attacks of the likes of Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals.
Especially on the black soil pitches of Ekana Stadium, the low bounce and slow pace of the pitch has greatly benefited the Super Giants bowlers. He got the same advantage against Kolkata Knight Riders on this occasion also.
Mohsin Khan has a strong farewell after dismissing Tim Seifert for zero.
Left-arm fast bowler Mohsin Khan looked quite excited after taking the wicket of KKR opener Tim Seifert, who is not in the best of form anyway. Seifert has not made the same impact for New Zealand in the T20 World Cup in three matches.
Handed the ball in the second over after a pressure-packed first over from the experienced Mohammed Shami, Khan bowled three tight balls, leaving no runs for KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane. Rishabh Pant also wasted the initial review on the third ball of Mohsin Khan when the ball hit Rahane’s pad in front of the stumps.
After giving away two dots to Seifert, the Kiwi tried to force one through offside, and in an attempt to do so, he looped one over short cover, and the catch was completed safely by Mukul Choudhary. After this, Mohsin bid him farewell by abusing him.
