A light-hearted moment between England cricketer Ben Duckett and the Melbourne Cricket Ground crowd during the Boxing Day Test in The Ashes 2025-26 has gone viral. Duckett was jeered by fans offering him beer, but the opening batsman responded with a gesture rather than ignoring the joke.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) launched an investigation into his activities during his time away from the team.
