Jasprit Bumrah’s yorker created panic in the Indian camp
Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team faced a worrying moment during practice ahead of their second Group A match of the T20 World Cup 2026 against Namibia. Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan suffered a toe injury while batting in the nets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The 27-year-old was facing Jasprit Bumrah when a fast yorker hit his toe. Ishaan immediately looked in pain and fell on the ground. While other players were watching, the team physio immediately came to examine him. Photos of the incident went viral online, leaving fans worried.
No official update has come from BCCI yet, but journalists present on the field have said that the injury does not appear to be serious. It seems like this is more of a painful blow than a major problem. It is also being said that Sanju Samson and Bumrah may return to the playing eleven against Namibia.
