Abhishek Sharma is doubtful to play in India’s next T20 World Cup 2026 on February 12. A day before the match, Tilak Verma provided some key updates on Sharma.
Verma told that Abhishek Sharma had gone to the hospital for examination. He was discharged today on 11th February. However, it is not clear whether the opening batsman will play the match against Namibia on February 12 or not. If he is unable to play the match, Sanju Samson can be included in the playing eleven in his place.
During the India vs USA match, it was reported that Sharma had informed the team management about having a stomach upset, and the weather may also have some impact on his health. Since then he is out of the field.
