During a press conference on Tuesday, Satanshu Kotak said that the Indian team would not file any formal complaint about the matter. Kotak said that the employees were asked to stand 2.5 meters away from the pitch, even though they were wearing joggers.

“When we were looking at the pitch, they asked us to stand 2.5 meters away. We were wearing joggers. It was very strange. Given the wicket with a rubber spike, nothing is wrong. We see that the land is not damaged. Its pitch, not antique,” Kotac told reporters.
