In a heartbreaking crossover, the India National Cricket Team recently visited Manchester United’s training base, one of the world’s most famous football clubs. Both teams met in Carrington and enjoyed a memorable day filled with friendly banquet, laughter, light training drill and even a jersey exchange.
This special meeting was arranged by Adidas, and it quickly turned into a celebration of sportsmanship and mutual respect. Cricket and football can be very different games, but the players showed how much they praise each other’s skills and dedication.
BCCI shared glimpses of India’s fun day with Manchester United
The social media went mad after the BCCI shared glimpses with a memorable crossover. The video, Indian stars Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammad Siraj were seen chatting and joking with Manchester United Players Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Amad Dialo and Mason Mount.

One of the most fun moments when Indian Pesar Mohammad Siraj acted, as he was bowling for Harry Maguire, and footballer, trying to get out of a bouncer, out of place, with a bat in hand.
On the other hand, Indian captain Shubman Gill also made a little attempt to football, while a dye-hard Manchester United fan head coach Gautam Gambhir saw thrilled and enjoyed the atmosphere. Gambhir also posed with United Manager Ruben Amorim.
Rishabh Pant changes the coach, Tom teaches Heton wicketkeeping
In the video, Rishabh Pant was also seen giving goalkeeper Tom Heton giving a quick lesson in wicketkeeping during Manchester United’s visit to India. The pants showed a drill to keep Heton something basic, and both enjoyed a mild moment.
Meanwhile, Jersey Swap was another standout moment. Indian players wore a red shirt of Manchester United, and footballers proudly wore India’s Test Whites, showing a bond and honor between two great teams from two separate sports.
Gill was seen having a serious conversation with United Captain Bruno Fernandes about his roles, while Gambhir Ruben had a conversation with the counterparts of Amorim.

Shubman Gill, Gautam Gambhir, and Kuldeep Yadav Share Election
Sharing the experience, Shubman Gill said in the BCCI video, “It is very exciting that the world’s top athletes are able to meet another game; it is very inspiring to know their stories. You are playing two different games, but the mentality you play with is the most similar.”
Gautam Gambhir said, “It was a good conversation – what is his ideology towards the team’s game and what is my ideology towards the team’s game. The original foundation of a team’s game is very similar, where I think I think it is favorable for players that the team needs to be a team instead of customizing for a certain person. The culture that we want to create.”
On the other hand, Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav also enjoyed the experience and chose Amorim’s mind about his approach for the new season. Kuldeep said, “I was eager to talk to Ruben; I am following him from the game. I asked him some questions about the strategy and are he going to live with 3-4-3 in this season. I got a chance to chat with Kasemiro how I praise him as a player, and it was very good.”
