India National Cricket Team opener Yashsvi Jaiswal has finally broken his silence to get out of India’s Asia Cup 2025 squad, which has shocked many fans and experts. Despite his sensational form in forms, Yashsavi Jaiswal was ignored, as the Indian selectors not only brought Shubman Gill back, but also extended them to Vice-Capanesey.
The 23 -year -old batsman did everything to prove his merit. In IPL 2025, he scored 559 runs in 14 matches and on an average over 43 and a fierce strike rate of around 160. The young man also cracked six half -centuries, with a highest score of 75 for Rajasthan Royals.

And then, the left-handed batsman dominated the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in England, scored 411 runs with the help of two centuries, including a brave match winning knock. Even in T20I cricket, he has already scored 723 runs in 23 matches at an average of 36 and a strike rate leaving 164 jaws. Nevertheless, he did not find a place in the Asia Cup 2025 team.

Instead of milking, Yashasvi Jaiswal showed remarkable maturity. Speaking about the setback, the young Indian opener said that the selection of the team depends on combinations and strategy. Jaiswal insisted that whatever he can do, he can work hard and be ready whenever the opportunity comes.
Yashsvi said during a conversation with Mashael India, “I don’t think about it. It is all in the hands of the selectors. The decisions are taken according to the team combination. I will keep talking, and I know that my time will come. When my time comes, till then, till then, I just want to work on myself, and keep working hard.”

Yashasvi Jaiswal called Rohit Sharma his biggest guru in Team India
Meanwhile, young Indian batting star Yashsvi Jaiswal has opened his precious time with legends in the Indian dressing room with veteran Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Yashasvi described Rohit Sharma as more than just one captain, called him a patron, who directed him in every aspect of the game. Jaiswal admitted that even a small conversation with Rohit taught him a lesson that could not be found in any textbook.
Jaiswal said, “I really enjoy living with Rohit Bhai. He has taught me a lot and has helped me a lot in developing both mentally and overall. He is really a wonderful person. When you are around him or talk to him, you learn a lot – really, just looking at him, you can learn a lot, you can learn a lot.”

The Indian opener also shared how much he enjoys Virat Kohli in the Indian dressing room. Jaiswal revealed that due to having a powerhouse on the field, it is also that which keeps the atmosphere in light with his humor, sharp intelligence and fickle nature.
He signed it saying, “Paaji is amazing, really strong. I have batted with him many times. He is very funny, and he is really funny too. If you spend time with him, you just keep laughing; this is a different level. If he tells you something about someone, he will explain it completely. He will end it completely.”
